This Hallberg Rassy 53 was build in 2000. The first registered was in 2004. She had 2 owners and had been sailing in the west mediterranean only, mainly in Balearic Islands and the Spanish coast line. She had an examplary maintenance and she is well presented.
The sailboat is well equiped for long cruising. The layout distribution of this center cockpit is, one aft master cabin with the ensuite bathroom has 2 beds, one forward starboard lateral cabin with 2 bunks beds, one head on port side and a forward cabin with a double bed and a head on starboard.
A luxury home with high quality feel of the installation and a graceful elegance regardless the passage of time.
The Hallberg Rassy 53 was buil between 1992 and 2006. In 1992, she was the largest boat ever built by the yard. Then, 88 yachts were built. This yacht with graceful elegance offers lots of space and room for comfort equipment.
The Hallberg Rassy 53 is a comfortable and well built long distance cruiser with a good performance.
“Designed by Germán Frers, it combines modern styling and a performance hull but still retains that timeless elegance that is the hallmark of the range, while down below it provides the space and comfort of a luxury floating home.
The interior is finished in glowing rich red mahogany, again a Hallberg Rassy trademark, one of which they are justly proud. Satin finished, smooth, rounded, warm to the touch and soothing to the eye, the interiors of these boats are superb.
The layout is designed to allow access from bow to stern, in a smooth line with no obstructions and the saloon table has superbly radiussed fiddles that fades away in the corners. The engine room is a full-height, walk-in compartment, with ample room to work around the six-cylinder engine. Also in here is the generator, with room for a water-maker if required, and easy access to all systems. Perforated aluminium linings cover the sound insulation, adding to the high quality feel of the installation.”
Yachting World, February 1994 sum up like this: “Overall the Hallberg Rassy 53 is a genuine go-anywhere boat which could be lived on for extended periods of time permanently. With these purposes in mind, she is a difficult boat to beat.”
